Dvorna in Državna Tiskarna, p. 106.〕 is a settlement north of Dobrova in the Municipality of Dobrova–Polhov Gradec in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.〔(Dobrova–Polhov Gradec municipal site )〕 It also comprises the hamlets of Jarčji Potok ((スロベニア語:Jarčji potok)), Knapovec, Pod Kotom, Ravnik, and Žerovnik.〔Savnik, Roman, ed. 1971. Ljubljana: Državna založba Slovenije. p. 401–402.〕 The settlement includes three creeks—from west to east, Žerovnik Creek (), Jarc Creek (), and Ostrožnik Creek—all tributaries of the Gradaščica River. ==Name== The name ''Gabrje'' means 'hornbeam forest' and, like similar names (e.g., ''Gaberje, Gabrče, Veliki Gaber''), originally referred to the local vegetation.〔Snoj, Marko. 2009.
